​Chasing Trouble is the second book in my Trouble series released on 16 July 2018.  The heroine in this book, Ava Cardona was a secondary character from my first book, The Trouble with Mr. Pretty. I didn't originally plan on writing a book for her, but I kept picturing this character who was a successful lawyer, always dressed immaculately without a hair out of place, messed up and dirty.  I wanted her life that seemed to be perfect, be anything but perfect.  So I took her out of her city life and I stranded her in the country on the side of the road in the middle of a storm soaking wet, covered in mud and cow manure.  It's fun to be a little mean to characters. 
This story is about family secrets and a second chance at love.  Ava arrives home after being away for 10 years.  She’s stuck on a farm with the man who once broke her heart and needs to deal with the pain and secrets of her past to be able to trust in love again.
