​ Most winters we set off for a road trip to research the story that I will write the following summer.
This year with COVID, we spent the winter at home so my imagination has had to pull out the memories of previous trips.

From a diamond mine in western Australia to the forests of the Daintree, to the lava tubes at Undara.
