Hi there
We are up in my favourite place - the gorgeous Whitsundays - and I am researching Nell, the third book in the Pentecost Island series.​ (Click on the cover to see the blurb)

When we arrived last Thursday night, it was so hot I wondered why we had come to the tropics in the summer! But we soon acclimatised and spent a lot of time in the pool here. I've spent time reading,  but have also spent a few hours each day writing. I've got so many books out this year, I am in a bit of panic mode!
But it is simply a matter of discipline,  sitting at my computer and writing a few hundred words every day, and I stay on track. The stories and characters are always in my head and I simply have to get them out through my fingertips into the computer!

Tomorrow we are heading out to the islands on a fishing  trip, and I'm  really, really hoping the weather is kind and we get to Pentecost Island! This afternoon, I took a photo of the sky from our balcony. Would you believe it didn't storm.

NEW BOOK NEWS

1. Great news! Last week I received the letter telling me that I now own the rights to Kakadu Sunset, Daintree and Diamond Sky. The new print covers are done, and the interior formatted and they are at the printers! If you haven't read them yet, I have a special deal for the set. 4. One of the best things about being an author is the friendships you make with other authors. Nicki Edwards, Darry Fraser, Susanne Bellamy and I  got together and added a book each to an anthology for your reading pleasure. My News

As I said above we are relaxing in north Queensland for a week. I am super excited because on the way home this weekend we are going to see Queen and Adam Lambert at the Gold Coast! After seeing them on televsion at the fire fundrasing concert, I can't wait! It's pretty special for us because back in 1975, we tried to get tickets to see Queen and Freddie Mercury in Brisbane on our honeymoon (Yes... LOL can you work out how many  years we've been married this year? No wonder I write romance!
